Software Engineer (AWS, .NET, C#, SQL Server, Git Hub) - Remote

Software Engineer (AWS, .NET, C#, SQL Server, Git Hub). Onsite – work remotely. 6‑month term (Dec. – May) with option to extend 1 year.

The main function of a Software Engineer is to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs including mainframe and client/server applications, and major enhancement of existing systems.

• Leadership of a small technical team in a senior role
• Experience moving legacy applications into the cloud
• Strong general engineering skills
• Experience with cache, data structures, interactive design, lighting, loader (if applicable)

• Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data.
• Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications.
• Implement system software and customize to client requirements.
• Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans.
• Code new programs to client specifications and create test data for testing.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience.
• Strong foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems.
• Experience in programming and problem diagnosis and resolution.

Skills assessment, including whiteboard quiz exercises to evaluate problem‑solving, knowledge, and ability to diagnose and resolve issues. Cultural fit assessment based on mannerisms and behavior.

Candidate may sit remote full time; attendance at office on occasion preferred.
