Lead Java​/Scala Software Engineer

HERE is searching for a Lead Software Engineer (Backend) for our Foundation Engineering team. Foundation Engineering enables the creation of mapping products that are highly available, performant, and near real‑time.

Within Foundation Engineering, You will be part of Traffic automated road closure detection and verification(ACV/ACD) and Development team. This a real‑time system with big data processing that uses AI/ML to solve one of the most important of traffic road closure functionality. This system has a very high SLA needs and already running in production which needs maintenance and enhancement several features are in pipeline to develop.

The job includes all parts of software development lifecycle: refining product vision, gathering requirements, software system design, coding, testing, release and support. As our team is spread around the globe, you will work collaboratively with other team members from different locations.
