Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems. The role is hybrid with occasional on-site support.

Job Responsibilities:

• Strong working knowledge and experience developing Java-based software capabilities.
• Inquisitive nature, responsiveness, and excellent testing skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Security Clearance – current TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.
• At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering with modern Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Guava), and a Bachelor’s in a related field; or 3 years relevant experience with a Master’s; or High School Diploma with 9 years relevant experience.
• Experience designing enterprise APIs.
• Experience with RESTful web services.
  
  Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with object-oriented programming paradigms.
• Experience with the agile software lifecycle.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently as well as in a team.
• Experience with Linux operating system.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Nexus, Maven).
• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certifications (e.g., Security+).
• Willingness to travel to customer site in Fort Belvoir, VA 1–2 times a month.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid environment, spending 1–2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure).

• Scripting experience.
• Prior experience or familiarity with our Big Data Platform.
