Your Role:
Senior PHP Developer Are you passionate about clean, scalable code and inspiring the next generation of developers?
Data Candy is looking for a Senior PHP Developer who thrives on technical leadership, collaboration, and innovation.
In this role, you’ll architect robust solutions, mentor junior developers, and help set the standard for engineering excellence across our teams.
Your Focus Mentorship :
Guide and support junior developers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of learning.
Architecture :
Design scalable, secure, and elegant software solutions that raise the bar.
Collaboration :
Partner with product managers, designers, and QA to build world-class features.
Excellence :
Lead by example in code reviews, maintain high coding standards, and champion clean, maintainable code.
Innovation :
Stay curious, experiment with new tools, and bring fresh ideas that keep us ahead.
Ownership :
Take accountability for your work from concept to deployment, ensuring long-term success.
Continuous Improvement :
Embrace feedback, evolve practices, and contribute to a culture of growth.
Who You Are Experienced: 8+ years in software development with strong expertise in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Skilled:
Proficient in Symfony (or similar PHP frameworks), Doctrine (or similar ORM), and PHPUnit testing.
Versatile:
Familiar with JavaScript frameworks like JQuery or Angular
JS, and bonus points for Cypress or other E2E testing tools.
Cloud-Savvy:
Experience in AWS-hosted environments is a strong plus.
Detail-Oriented:
Passionate about quality, scalable solutions, and object-oriented development.
Compensation Salary Range: $90,000.00 – $ CAD per year The salary range listed reflects the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.
Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and role requirements.
