Technical Lead – Stripe Mobile App
Our client is seeking a Technical Lead – Stripe Mobile App to guide the development of a next-generation hybrid mobile application for a large-scale industry event. This role will oversee technical direction, collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners, and ensure the successful delivery of a premium attendee experience built on an enterprise event platform with custom integrations and enhancements.
This role is fully remote.
Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership across the project, partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering to define architecture, implementation patterns, and delivery standards.
- Oversee front‑end development efforts using modern component‑driven workflows, ensuring code quality, consistency, and long‑term maintainability.
- Lead integration efforts across platform providers, internal teams, and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and feature functionality.
- Translate design specifications into scalable, accessible UI components and ensure visual fidelity across devices and breakpoints.
- Manage performance strategy, including Web Vitals optimization, code splitting, caching, and asset‑loading techniques.
- Guide platform configuration and customization, including branding, feature extensions, and pre‑event onboarding flows.
- Support app store submission requirements, QA cycles, and live event readiness.
- Mentor engineers, promote best practices, and uphold standards for readability, maintainability, and craftsmanship.
- Advanced expertise in React.js, including modern patterns, hooks, state modeling, and optimization techniques.
- Strong experience with Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR, routing, server actions, middleware, and edge rendering).
- Proficiency in Type Script with an emphasis on predictable, scalable codebases.
- Experience working within a component‑driven development workflow such as Storybook, design tokens, and modular architecture.
- Ability to translate Figma design systems into accessible, scalable component libraries.
- Hands‑on experience with modern UI styling frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Styled Components) and responsive layout best practices.
- Strong familiarity with state management and data‑handling patterns such as Zustand, REST, and Graph
QL integrations. - Working knowledge of Node.js for tooling and lightweight backend interaction.
- Deep understanding of accessibility principles aligned with WCAG AA, including semantic structure, keyboard interaction, and screen‑reader compatibility.
- Strong command of web performance strategies and optimization practices.
- Experience leading code quality initiatives including linting, type systems, CI/CD workflows, and deployments to platforms such as Vercel or Netlify.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor teams, set technical direction, and promote engineering excellence.
Compensation: $55‑75/hr (DOE)
