Position SummaryAs a Staff Engineer, you will provide a friction‑less experience for our customers, ensuring the highest standards of protection and availability. You will lead engineering teams, own end-to-end solutions, influence product vision, and mentor junior engineers in a hyper‑growth environment.
Position Responsibilities- Focus on multiple areas and provide leadership to engineering teams
- Own complete solutions across the entire life cycle
- Influence and build vision with product managers, team members, customers, and partner engineering teams to solve complex problems for enterprise‑class business applications
- Accountable for quality, usability, and performance of solutions
- Lead design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering quality across the organization
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, C#, or other object‑oriented languages, SQL, No
SQL databases, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and Azure services - Mentor junior engineers to realize their full potential
- Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams
- Fluency in C# .NET and at least one additional modern language (Java, C++, Python)
- Experience building products using micro‑services architecture and extensible REST APIs
- Strong architecture and design fundamentals, including reliability, scalability, and performance
- Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
- Proficiency in Dev Ops concepts and cloud architecture
- Experience with Power Shell scripting and application monitoring tools
- Knowledge of security protocols (Active Directory, OAuth, SAML)
- Excellent problem‑solving and algorithmic skills
- Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment
- Strong documentation skills and use of Microsoft Visio
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and task management
- Understanding of developer tooling across the software development life cycle
- 6+ years of professional software development experience in Duck Creek, C# .NET, CBO, Author, and Manu Script
- 4+ years of experience with open‑source frameworks
- 3+ years of experience with architecture and design
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
