Job Title:
Software Developer
Join our team to work on a cutting‑edge HMI product that automates artificial lifts for oil wells. This is a multi‑phase project where you will have the opportunity to stabilize and optimize a prototype product. You'll collaborate in transitioning legacy systems to modern technologies, focusing on a .NET environment with React and SQL integration. Your role will be crucial in modernizing existing software and supporting legacy products.
Responsibilities- Stabilize and optimize an HMI product for oil well automation.
- Collaborate on transitioning legacy systems to modern technologies.
- Work on full‑stack development projects using .NET and React.
- Support SCADA systems and assist in their migration to a .NET structure.
- Participate in the modernization of business logic to align backend and UI.
- Provide support for legacy products, including those built in VB6 and WPF.
- 5+ years of experience in full stack software development.
- .NET and React experience.
- Proficiency in SCADA support.
- Comfortable with supporting and modernizing legacy products.
- Proficient in C# and software development.
- Experience in UI/UX design and unit testing.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of hardware integration.
This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the state of Texas, with occasional travel to Houston for team collaboration. The team is small, comprising about four members, including experienced developers with extensive experience. Collaboration is encouraged, and while there is no permanent office space, meetings in Houston are accessible.
Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
