Java Full Stack Developer

Global Financial Firm located in MISSISSAUGA, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer.

"This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule.
You will need to have reliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote access into the client systems during remote work.
We will be expected in the office weekly 3 days depending on the team requirement.

Java Full Stack Developer (Intermediate Programmer Analyst)
This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting end-to-end applications, with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, SQL. You will contribute to system analysis, programming, troubleshooting, and implementation of scalable solutions in coordination with the technology team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and related technologies.
• Build and support microservices-based solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Design and implement responsive front-end user interfaces and integrate with backend services via REST APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with business requirements.
• Perform application testing, debugging, and security/vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (UI/UX, QA, Product) to deliver client-focused solutions.
• Provide technical support, resolve complex issues, and ensure smooth deployments.
• Operate with limited supervision, exercise independent judgment, and mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
  1-2 years of full stack development experience. Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Angular, SQL.
• Familiarity with APIs, and cloud-based environments.
• Business knowledge of Financial Markets, and Back Office function
• Strong Analytical, Problem-solving, and communication skills.
