How will you make an impact?
In this role, you will work with business units and analysts to identify and understand business problems and goals and design, implement, and support the solutions to those goals. This position entails 90% new features/project work and 10% product support of existing workflows.
Domain Expertise in BPMN 2.0, Software Design and Development
Experience liaising with business and technical teams to define and implement end-to-end BPM with Java Integrations
Develop high-quality, secure, scalable & maintainable software, abiding by MGIC’s coding standards
Review code with other developers to share project and technical knowledge
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA testers to plan and execute in a high-energy Agile environment
Participate in technical planning, determine tasks associated with project assignments, estimates, and dependencies
Experience in BPM and DMN tools (preferably Camunda), Expression Language and
Exposure to data visualization, reporting, and dashboarding tools
Collaborate with Business Analysts and design leads to implement BPM solutions using Camunda
Experience in business process improvement or business process re-engineering projects
Experience with financial services is a plus
Mentor and counsel junior teammates
Do you have what it takes?
Experience:
3+ years of experience in Camunda BPM Application Development
5+ years of experience in BPM-related solution design approach
Between 2 and 5 years of experience using Java (or similar language)
Experience with Agile methodology using Scrum or similar
Working knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, API development, web-enabled applications, and relational databases
Ability to create and execute test cases using Junit with a mindset toward continuous testing
Strong communication and collaboration skills (upward, lateral, and downward)
Eye on continuous improvement
Your ability to have to analyze business problems and suggest technical solutions
Your ability to take initiative, ownership, and deliver results
Forward-thinking on long-term vision/goals
Experience with Service Now ticketing, a plus
Experience with JIRA is a plus
