We are seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Software Engineer to join our team. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer‑based systems. You will work closely with other engineers to create solutions that meet the needs of our clients in a hybrid environment with a great team.

• U.S. citizenship required; a current U.S. Government security clearance is not required to start but will be processed for a Secret level clearance; candidates with a higher level clearance considered.
• At least 9 years of experience in Software Engineering, modern Java frameworks and libraries (e.g., Spring, Guava) and a bachelor’s degree in related field, or 7 years relevant experience with a master’s, or high school diploma/equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
• Experience in designing enterprise APIs.
• Experience in RESTful web services.
• Experience in Microservices architecture.
• Experience in OOP paradigms.
• Experience with the Agile software lifecycle.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and work well independently and in a team setting.
• Experience with Linux operating system.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Nexus, Maven).
• Must be able to obtain Security+ certification within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to work 2 days a week onsite in San Antonio, TX, with flexibility to adapt to schedule changes as needed.

• Experience/interest in Kotlin.
• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certification (Security+) preferred.
• Experience in cloud‑based technologies (AWS, Azure).
• Experience in distributed databases, No
  
  SQL databases, and full‑text search engines (e.g., Elasticsearch, Mongo
  
  DB, Solr).
• Scripting experience is a huge plus.
• Prior experience or familiarity with Data Lakes/Warehouse is a plus.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies and use of standard dev tool suites (JIRA, Confluence, Git Hub Enterprise, etc.).
