Senior .NET Developer (Remote)

Lead High‑Impact, Large‑Scale .NET Projects Using Modern Microsoft Technologies

Step into a Senior‑level role where your technical expertise directly shapes major enterprise applications used by thousands of end users. This is an opportunity to work on large‑scale, mission‑critical web systems built on the Microsoft stack, partnering closely with a Systems Architect to design and deliver modern, high‑performance solutions.

You’ll be working with the latest tools — Visual Studio 2022, .NET 6+, Blazor, MVC, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and more — while helping modernize and enhance both internal and public‑facing applications. If you enjoy solving complex architectural challenges, building clean and scalable code, and influencing technical direction, this role offers the autonomy and impact you’re looking for.

This is a fully remote position with long‑term stability and the chance to work on highly visible, multi‑year initiatives.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the Senior .NET developer on large enterprise development efforts.
  • Collaborate with a Systems Architect to design and build modern web‑based applications.
  • Develop solutions using cutting‑edge Microsoft technologies including .NET 6+, Blazor, MVC, EF Core, and SQL Server.
  • Build n‑tier applications with strong object‑oriented design principles.
  • Create intuitive, modern user interfaces using Blazor, Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX, and JavaScript.
  • Work across the full SDLC: analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment.
  • Ensure code quality through best practices, static code analysis, and strong documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including infrastructure, networking, and operations.
  • Support both internal systems and public‑facing applications.
Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience architecting, designing, and developing large‑scale web applications using Microsoft technologies.
  • Deep expertise in .NET Framework 4.5+, .NET 6+, C#, , ASP.NET, MVC, Blazor, and n‑tier architecture.
  • Strong experience with SQL Server 2012+, including stored procedures, views, triggers, and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, jQuery, CSS, and responsive UI frameworks.
  • Experience with WCF, Web API, Windows Services, Web Services, and service‑oriented architecture.
  • Strong understanding of OOP, OOA/OOD, and enterprise‑level design patterns.
  • Experience with Entity Framework, EF Core, LINQ, , and SQL CE.
  • Familiarity with Check Marx or similar static code analysis tools.
  • Ability to produce high‑quality technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of ADFS, claims‑based authentication, WS‑Fed, and OIDC.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑sector technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SQL Server 2022.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Reporting experience using SSRS, Power BI, or Business Objects.
  • Experience with workflow tools or SharePoint integration.
  • Prior experience supporting government or public‑sector IT environments.
  • Microsoft certifications are a plus.
Experience Level

Expert‑level .NET developer with deep architectural and hands‑on development experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Frankfort, KY.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $53.00/hr.
