Sr. Software Engineer

Sr. Software Engineer for Chesterfield, MO to design, develop, deploy, test, troubleshoot, debug & support software systems and applications; gather & understand requirements; translate requirements into application features; develop application technical documentation; identify opportunities to develop new or improved solutions; provide guidance for technical design & architecture decisions; participate in shaping product development strategy; contribute to evaluation & selection of new technologies;

work with team to coordinate project priorities & deadlines; mentor junior engineers. Requires Master’s in C.S., Computer Engineering or closely-related field & 3yrs experience in IT-related position(s): developing multi-page web applications; performing Cloud-based continuous delivery environment management using AWS; designing & developing microservice architecture; developing large-scale distributed systems; ensuring software security; processing & analyzing large, complex data sets; designing Cloud-based software solutions using React, Node.

JS, & Python, Java and/or JavaScript; supporting software product development, including research, design, programming and/or testing; using database management tools to store & retrieve data; and designing & developing application user interfaces. Will also accept Bachelor’s in said fields & 5 yrs progressive post-Bachelor’s stated experience. Telecommuting permitted from home office location within reasonable commuting distance of Chesterfield, MO up to 3 weeks per month.

Salary Range:
