• Own the architecture by designing and documenting the end-to-end AI workflow stack with clear interfaces and versioning
• Ship production systems by building reliable, low-latency services that integrate foundation models and traditional microservices
• Implement robust testing frameworks to ensure deterministic and predictable behavior from the AI-powered data platform
• Optimize cost and performance by analyzing and improving unit economics and system performance metrics
• Mentor and provide technical leadership across teams, while translating product intent into technical plans

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering
• Expertise in at least one primary programming language (Rust preferred) and cloud-native architectures
• Proven experience integrating AI/ML models into user interfaces
• Familiarity with data governance, PII handling, and compliance considerations

• Experience designing reusable AI workflow primitives or internal platforms used by multiple product teams
• Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval strategies
• Experience with model lifecycle management and prompt/version management
• Built robust tracing/metrics/logging for AI systems
• Experience managing machine learning workloads on container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
