We’re working with a crypto-native DeFi trading platform, backed by a leading digital assets firm (client name kept confidential), to hire a Senior Backend Developer. The team is building high-performance, decentralized trading infrastructure with a strong focus on execution quality and user experience.
This is a hands‑on role covering backend engineering, smart contract integration, and trading‑adjacent systems, working closely with experienced engineers, product, and UX in a fast‑moving, production‑focused environment.
What you’ll be doing- Building and maintaining backend services and public APIs in Rust and Python
- Working directly with EVM smart contracts at an application level
- Contributing to the evolution of a performance‑critical DeFi trading platform
- Strong experience with Rust and Python
- 3–4+ years in crypto / DeFi‑native roles
- Practical experience interacting with Solidity smart contracts (not just high‑level)
- Understanding of DEXs and trading concepts (hands‑on or theoretical)
- Comfortable operating production systems in a cloud environment
