Remote position requiring full‑time availability from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Central Time. Team members are expected to be online, responsive, and on video for meetings. The role also includes four onsite weeks annually in Carrollton, Texas.
Position OverviewDC International is seeking a Backend / Operations Developer who thrives in complex, real‑world systems and enjoys learning how things work under the hood. This role is not for a single‑language or single‑platform specialist. Instead, we are looking for a developer with experience across multiple systems and technologies who can confidently step into an existing environment, read and understand unfamiliar code, and make safe, effective improvements.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment and is eager to contribute proven development experience while continuing to grow within a collaborative team.
What Success Looks Like- Quickly understand existing applications by reading code and documentation
- Confidently modify and extend systems you did not originally build
- Deliver reliable changes in production environments
- Take ownership and continuously improve systems
- Read, understand, and enhance existing C# and .NET applications
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and background services
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and procedures
- Build Power Platform solutions including Power Automate
- Work with internal and third‑party APIs
- Build automation workflows
- Test integrations using Postman
- Work within Git‑based workflows and pull requests
- Use Visual Studio and VS Code effectively
- Contribute to and work within CI/CD pipelines
- 5+ years of backend, systems, or operations‑focused development experience
- Strong Microsoft Stack, C#, Python, Java Script
- Solid SQL experience in production environments
- API development and integration experience
- Experience working in existing, production codebases you did not originally build
- Proven ability to adapt quickly in new and complex environments
- Microsoft Business Central ERP, Dynamics 365 CRM, and warehouse systems
- Power BI exposure, Data warehouse, Microsoft Fabric
- Production system support and operational ownership experience
