The Developer Experience (Dev Ex) department plays a pivotal role in shaping how mobile engineering teams build, test, and ship software. Dev Ex owns the underlying tools, frameworks, and mobile infrastructure that power Life
360’s flagship iOS and Android applications and support the mission-critical experiences used by more than 88 million members.

360 fast, reliable, and enjoyable - from modernizing our mobile architecture, to evolving our build and CI pipelines, to creating internal frameworks, code generation tools, automation utilities, and high-leverage platform abstractions.

Our work directly shapes the foundation on which all mobile features are built, enabling engineers to deliver high-quality, high-impact experiences for families at scale.

We are looking for a Staff iOS Engineer to join our Developer Experience (Dev Ex) organization. You will shape the vision and execution of the tools, frameworks, architecture, and mobile infrastructure that empower mobile product teams to ship high-quality features faster and more reliably.

The US based salary range for this position is $167,000 to $245,000. The Canada-based salary range for this position is 194,000 to 227,000 CAD

Note: Please be aware that the job title for positions in Canada will be "Developer" in lieu of "Engineer." We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. • Lead complex, multi-team architectural initiatives such as Modularization, MVVM re-architecture, dependency graph overhauls, build system modernization, etc
• Drive improvements in our mobile CI/CD pipelines, release and deployment processes and tailoring pipelines to meet the specific needs of our mobile developers.
• Establish the architectural vision, patterns, and guidelines that enable consistent MVVM adoption across dozens of feature teams.
• Establish and evolve standards for code quality, testing, performance, and reliability across all iOS teams.
• Create the next-generation of developer tooling for Life
  360’s mobile apps, focusing on developer productivity - such as code generation, automation, CLI utilities, and dependency management.
• Elevate test infrastructure (unit, integration, snapshot, E2E) and lead efforts to reduce flakiness and improve confidence in shipping.
• Build, measure, and iterate on developer satisfaction metrics to ensure continuous improvements for our community
