Overview

The Senior Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise software solutions using .NET and C#, build scalable RESTful APIs, work with relational databases, and leverage cloud platforms to deliver robust applications. You will operate in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and taking initiative to solve complex business challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using .NET and C#.
  • Architect and implement RESTful APIs following best practices and performance standards.
  • Build reusable, extensible, and secure products that support system-to-system integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable enterprise systems.
  • Participate in and lead technical design sessions, gather requirements, and document assigned initiatives.
  • Maintain coding guidelines to ensure modularity, efficiency, and reusability.
  • Work closely with leads and stakeholders to prioritize and implement new features while maintaining existing functionality.
  • Contribute to business design and requirements by providing feasibility assessments and effort estimates.
  • Assist in managing and grooming the product backlog, assigning story points, and establishing sprint goals.
  • Own the planning, development, integration, and quality of code.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Work with SQL databases (primarily Postgre

    SQL) and integrate solutions using AWS services such as Dynamo

    DB and S3.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support system design and technical decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Preferred 8+ years of development experience, including object-oriented programming, data types, methods, algorithms, generics, interfaces, delegates, inheritance, repetitions, classes, polymorphism, arrays, etc.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in Microsoft technologies: .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, SQL, LINQ, Web API.
  • Strong understanding of API design principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Postgre

    SQL, MS SQL).
  • Familiarity with data exchange formats and web technologies (XML, SOAP, JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST).
  • Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Comfortable with Agile development tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Jira).
  • Knowledge of source control, debugging, performance monitoring, and testing tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance systems.
  • Experience with AWS services such as Dynamo

    DB, S3, Lambda.
  • Senior-level experience leading projects or mentoring junior developers.
Compensation and Equal Opportunity

Salary range: $108,000-$160,000 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Compensation is based on individual education, experience, and qualifications. Employer-provided benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, and retirement plans.
