We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and take a leadership role in driving the development and innovation of our platform. This senior-level position focuses on complex system design, technical leadership, and mentorship within the platform engineering domain. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and high-performing systems that are central to our product’s success.

* This is a remote position with preference for applicants on the Pacific coast.

• Expertise in Type Script and Node.js, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming.

• Proficiency with Jest for writing unit and integration tests.

• Solid experience with SQL and database management, specifically with Postgre
  
  SQL.

• Hands-on experience with ORM tools such as Mikro
  
  ORM, Sequelize, or Prisma.

• Familiarity with Graph
  
  QL API design and implementation.

• Experience with NestJS or similar frameworks for building scalable applications.

• Experience with Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized applications.

• Ability to manage complex technical projects and effectively communicate progress to stakeholders.
