A critical growth area for ez Cater is solidifying current integration capabilities and building features that serve the full spectrum of corporate Food for Work needs. As a member of the Integrations team, you will design and build the foundation for third-party integrations systems. This is a high-visibility team at the center of ez Cater’s supply-related initiatives.

What You'll Do:

• Bring knowledge of distributed systems to build highly scalable, fault-tolerant systems in a hybrid monolithic/microservices architecture.
• Partner with our data technology organization to enable detailed insight into our integrations and unlock future roadmap opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers and business stakeholders to understand complex order-fulfillment processes.
• Drive projects that improve growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction across ez Cater.
• Improve performance at every opportunity.
• Collaborate with fulfillment and customer care teams to improve the experience for customers, catering partners, delivery drivers, and support agents.
• Contribute to building meaningful software with a collaborative team.

What You Have:

• Full-stack experience on a product engineering team, ideally in Ruby on Rails.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep knowledge of SQL / relational databases;
  Postgres preferred.
• Exposure to Graph
  
  QL and Kafka is an asset, but not required.
• Experience designing and building large-scale systems.
• Extensive API design experience and an understanding of API-first development.
• Desire to work on a backend-heavy platform team.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to apply learning to improve products.
• Friendly, flexible, and pragmatic disposition.

The national cash compensation range for this role is $141,000 - $174,000 per year. This range is a guide and final offer amounts depend on factors such as prior experience and region and may vary. It does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or health, dental, or vision insurance).
