Accountabilities- Lead, mentor, and grow a globally distributed team of Python engineers, ensuring high engagement, performance, and career development.
- Drive technical excellence by contributing to code, setting engineering standards, and promoting best practices in design, testing, documentation, and performance.
- Plan, manage, and deliver complex engineering initiatives aligned with business and product goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, product, and leadership, to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Advocate for modern, agile software development and Dev Ops practices across teams.
- Foster a healthy, inclusive, and collaborative engineering culture while actively participating in the broader leadership community.
- Proven experience leading and developing software engineering teams in a remote or distributed environment.
- Strong background in Python software development, with hands-on experience in automation and Dev Ops-oriented workflows.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts, Linux systems, and infrastructure operations.
- Experience with modern infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes and/or Open Stack.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A people-first mindset, with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and continuous learning.
- Bonus points for experience with large-scale, multi-cloud environments, operations-focused roles, or additional languages such as Go.
