As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will design and implement robust automation frameworks that ensure high‑quality software delivery. You will work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to drive excellence in testing.

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress and Type Script.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data and ensure data integrity.
ollaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand enterprise tech stacks and develop automation solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and provide solutions.
• Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and tools.

• 5–7 years of experience in test automation development using Cypress and Type Script.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or similar.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with advanced SQL and database validation techniques.
• Exposure to cloud‑based environments and containerization tools.
• Knowledge of performance testing or security testing frameworks.
• Contributions to open‑source automation projects.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $53,477 to $92,500, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
