We are seeking a skilled Software Systems Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems that support business-critical applications. In this fully remote role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, secure, and high-performance systems while ensuring operational efficiency and system integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain software systems and backend services
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues
- Support system automation, deployment, and integration efforts
- Maintain technical documentation and follow engineering best practices
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Software Systems Engineer or similar role
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go)
- Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, and distributed systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Must be located in the United States and authorized to work
- Reliable internet connection and remote work setup
