A leading Government Department are seeking a Full-Stack Python Developer, to design and build both the backend and frontend of an AI-powered Personally Identifiable Information (PII) redaction Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

This is an initial 6-month contract, Inside IR35 @ £700 per day.

• Expert knowledge of Python, including front-end technologies such as CSS/HTML and frameworks such as React and Angular.
• Expert knowledge of the relational model and database applications.
• Collaboration with internal teams to design, create and maintain software.
• Experienced in working with Agile methodologies, managing tasks and delivering the core functionality of an MVP in fortnightly sprints to validate product concepts.
• Experience of containerisation.
• Creating documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Working on pre-existing codebases.
• Improving the resilience and stability of software.
• Applying practices to enable continuous delivery.
• Desirable - experience of designing software that allows users to view and interact with documents (PDF, Word) or images.
• Desirable - experience of working with cloud-based platforms such as AWS.
