We're looking for a motivated Junior Backend Engineer to join our team and grow their skills in building modern backend systems. You'll work alongside experienced developers and gain hands‑on experience with Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies
. This is a great opportunity to deepen your backend development knowledge while contributing to real‑world projects.

• Develop and learn:
  Assist in the development and maintenance of backend services and APIs using Java/Kotlin and the Spring ecosystem.
• Work closely with senior developers, product managers, frontend engineers and QA engineers to understand requirements and deliver high‑quality features.
• Write unit and integration tests, help identify bugs, and participate in troubleshooting and debugging sessions.
• Learn to optimize code for performance and scalability with guidance from senior team members.
• Contribute to technical documentation and support materials.
• Join code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to grow your understanding of software development best practices.

• Some experience (internship, academic or personal projects) in backend development using Java or Kotlin (at least 1 year).
• Basic understanding of Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Postgre
  
  SQL) and basic SQL.
• Interest in learning about event‑driven architectures (SQS, Kafka), CI/CD, and Dev Ops.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
• Good communication skills in English (B2+) and Spanish
  .
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).

• Exposure to Docker, Git Hub Actions, or AWS.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
