SUBSCRIBE is an enterprise software solution providing electronic subscription document technology and an order management system for alternative product transactions. Our technology allows allocators, sponsors, and service providers to digitize the entire onboarding, investment, and reporting process for alternative investments. Through our open‑architecture platform, all stakeholders are easily connected to a central venue allowing for collaboration that reduces errors, saving time and money.

We’re looking for a Team Lead who thrives at the intersection of technical excellence and people leadership. This is a hands‑on supervisory role where you’ll balance contributing as an engineer with guiding a team through project delivery, technical decisions, and career growth. You’ll play a key role in ensuring clarity of goals, cross‑team collaboration, and successful execution of engineering and business initiatives.

• You will lead and coordinate the team by running syncs, balancing hands‑on work with leadership, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• You will mentor and grow engineers through regular 1:1s, constructive feedback, and recognition that accelerates career development.
• You will drive technical excellence by reviewing code, guiding architecture decisions, and ensuring best practices in deployments and production support.
• You will own project delivery by setting clear timelines, breaking down work, balancing priorities, and collaborating closely with Product and stakeholders.
• You will remove blockers and solve problems to keep delivery smooth and the team focused on outcomes.
• You will collaborate with product and stakeholders to align priorities, communicate updates, and ensure expectations are met transparently.
• You will promote documentation and knowledge sharing to sustain transparency, enable long‑term success, and strengthen the engineering organization.

• Ruby on Rails for backend
• React.js for frontend
• Rspec for testing on the backend
• Argo for CI
• A variety of AWS services, including S3, RDS, ECS

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with 2+ years of management or team leadership experience.
• Past experience and extensive knowledge using Ruby on Rails and React.js.
• Strong technical expertise in modern software development practices.
• Proven ability to balance hands‑on coding with team leadership.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience mentoring engineers and fostering career growth.
