Job Description:

Glia Cell is seeking a Principal Dev Ops Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full‑time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems to a large government contract.

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real‑time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

• Possess an active or re‑instatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• Be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science (or a related subject).
• 20+ years of experience.
• Works well independently as well as on a team.
• Flexible and motivated.

• Python.
• Experience in Gitlab and AWS.
• Experience using IAVA, STE, Postgresql, Pratetor, Ruby, Git and Git Lab‑ci.
• Applications:
  Elasticsearch with Machine Learning, Mattermost, Custom Authentication code, NGINX, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, wick, Terraform, Ansible and Docker.
• Architecture:
  Multiple Auto Scale groups, S3 curation, Snapshots across VPC, RDS, Elasti Cache, Network Load Balancers, Custom AMI and AWS.

Location:

Annapolis Junction, Maryland

Salary Range: $190,000 to $280,000. Pay determined by individual benefits package selection.
