About the job
We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our core products international software development team.
Responsibilities:
Partner with product leads and designers to develop reliable and well tested backend software
Design and implementation of new Geo Server/Geo Tools features
Performance of day-by-day bug fixing
Minimum qualifications:
3+ years of experience
Good knowledge of Java Enterprise
Good Knowledge of Spring Framework
Good knowledge of relational databases, Postgre SQL is a must, Oracle a plus
Ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly
Being fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in designing and implementing scalable systems for highly concurrent loads
Knowledge of distributed systems and related key technologies is a plus (e.g. Kafka)
Knowledge of Geo Server and Geo Tools is a plus

We offer a variety of contracts but, please, note that our intention is to establish a long-term relationship. We are a remote first company, however the ideal candidate should work from a time zone between GMT and GMT+2.
Relocation is not requested and as such we are not envisioning any relocation support package.
