Senior Software Engineer

What to Expect

• Support and enhance high-quality software modules for the employer's product suite
• Analyze and resolve software-related issues from internal or external customers
• Document specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production rollout
• Communicate technical and operational issues to both engineering and business leadership
• Mentor other developers and contribute to continuous improvement in the software development lifecycle

• Salary up to $145,000 per year

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
• 4-5 years of industry experience, including 2+ years of healthcare data experience
• Proficiency with large datasets and optimization of SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers
• Experience with Java or Python and third-party platforms such as Appian and Cloudera Hadoop
• Strong knowledge of web services using Java and Spring Boot

• Familiarity with SAFe agile practices
• Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, HBASE, and Hive
