** An opportunity has arisen for a QA Non-Functional Test Engineer, to join Endered Pay Tech's dynamic and fast-paced Development team, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of their industry-leading financial transaction processing platform.

Endered Pay Tech uses various Java test frameworks and tools to create a fully automated test framework.
** Job description and key responsibilities
** As a Software Engineer in Test, your role will be to:
* Assurance of the quality of new features developed for the product groups from a performance perspective
* Software meets or exceeds published metrics and quality benchmarks
* Be a fully engaged member of the Scrum Team or central QA Team
* Mentor and transfer knowledge to more junior QA NFT engineers
* Take responsibility for the effective resolution of issues as they arise either within scrum or central QA team
* Identifying and create the required Performance test cases
* Develop the NFT capability (Java development)
* Support the business defining the performance acceptance criteria
* Planning and designing the performance scenarios
* Configuring the test environment
* Running, analysing, optimising the tests
** Required skills & profile
*** Very strong technical knowledge of Java and JMeter
* Commercial experience of performance testing systems; beneficially those which incorporate microservice architectures and web applications
* Demonstratable experience across all types of performance testing; load, stress, endurance, spike etc.
* Experience of utilising AI within non-functional testing
* Able to manage multiple work streams, independently, with good engagement and communication skills, both verbal and written
* Practical experience in the following areas:  + Test script development  + Load/stress/Soak Testing  + Workload Modelling  + Performance Monitoring  + Test Reporting
* Experience of Performance tooling (such as Load runner, Neo-Load, Gatling, etc…)
* Experience of Monitoring tools (such as App Dynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, New Relic, etc…)
* Knowledge of AWS, APIs, web services, databases, and message queues
* Experience of any of the following would be beneficial:  + Scripting; BASH, Perl, Python, Java script  + AWS/Azure cloud services  + Working with large databases  + Linux/ Unix  + Jenkins  + Jira & Confluence  + Docker  + Tools:
Git, Maven, Apache Tomcat
* ISTQB Foundation Certification (minimum)
* Analytical approach to defect resolution and remediation
* Well organized – able to plan own work and track progress against a plan
* Strong communicator: written & verbal with the ability to explain technical issues and solutions to peers
* Self-starter, problem solver
