Permanent# Test Developer, Software Tests Boisbriand Share As  a Test Developer, Software tests you will actively participate in the design, development and improvement of our software tests on various robotic systems. The tests can apply to the verification of embedded and high-level software functionalities of Kinova's various products.

You will also have to work on the different test tools (test bench, software platform) to ensure their accessibility, reliability and robustness. This includes the maintenance and extension of our automated test infrastructure.

You will also have to ensure, in cooperation with other members of the engineering team, that the automated test coverage is adequate, and increase it as new features are introduced. This includes being involved in monitoring test execution and resolving test-related issues.
** MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Manage, configure and maintain a fleet of robots or robotic components for software testing and verification;
* Develop test procedures and test methods needed to verify the features of Kinova’s robotic products;
* Develop and document automated test stations and test suites;
* Verify product specifications and maintain traceability to requirements;
* Work with software developers to implement corrective measures to resolve problems detected during test execution;
* Perform test coverage analyses;
* Development of tooling, test software and infrastructure used in engineering;
* Contribute to the maintenance and configuration of a CI / CD environment for continuous software deployment;
* Participate in the organization and generation of test and validation metrics and reports.
** POSITION REQUIREMENTS
*** Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer or software engineering or equivalent;
* Minimum three years' relevant experience, particularly in automated test strategy and writing functional tests, system tests, validation tests and integration tests;
* Experience with robotic and mechatronic principles;
* Relevant experience in Python programming;
* Experience with CI / CD environments;
* Autonomy, proactivity and team spirit;
* Ability to prioritize work;
* Presence at Boisbriand office two to five days a week, depending on projects.

* ** Experience with testing environments:
Robot Framework and PyTest;
* Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jenkins;
* Experience with Jira;
* Experience with deployment on embedded systems;
* Experience with Linux and scripting languages (Shell, Bash, etc.);
* Experience working in an Agile environment and/or experience with Jira;
* Relevant experience in data analysis;
* Meticulous personality;
* Experience in the medical field;
* Experience with ISO 13485;
* Experience with IEC 62304.
