Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer in San Mateo, CA to implement the native framework and infrastructure of applications using C++, WinRT, and other native technologies. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience building, processing, and deploying applications using Docker; troubleshooting build failures, deployment issues, and infrastructure bottlenecks;

managing and automating deployments of frontend applications using Jenkins and Akamai; building Jenkins shared libraries tailored towards building and shipping applications; designing and implementing update processes for applications, build pipelines, or other software; supporting production environments using Grafana, xMatters, and dashboards and writing Root Cause Analyses; managing project releases and deployments, communicating project progress and release timings to stakeholders via announcements and Jira epics, and translating stakeholder requirements and user feedback into actionable items on Jira;

and in executing duties, utilizing Java script, Typescript, HTML, CSS and related web technologies. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Sony is an EOE.
