Location: Township of Unity

Your Role:
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- You develop and optimize GPU/compute-shader-powered algorithms in Unity/C# + HLSL for hand and gesture interaction on depth or point-cloud data.
- You implement interactive 3D UI components (buttons, sliders, manipulable objects) with realistic physics and smooth user experience.
- You integrate software with depth sensors (e.g., Intel Real Sense/Kinect-like) and independently perform calibration, testing, and performance improvements on CPU and GPU.
- You contribute to the core SDK/framework used by downstream app teams; occasionally you create demo apps to showcase new features.
- Daily collaboration in English with colleagues (many based in Germany) is no problem for you.
- You develop visually impressive demo applications using our proprietary technologies and create stunning Unity scenes that showcase the capabilities of our hand-tracking and 3D interaction stack.
- You have strong expertise in Unity (C#), HLSL/Compute Shaders, and solid skills in 3D mathematics, geometry, algorithms, and computer vision on point cloud.
- You have proven experience in performance optimization (CPU/GPU), working with data structures, and transforming R&D prototypes into production-ready solutions.
- You possess a technical artist sensibility for lighting, materials/shaders, composition, and designing interactive UI experiences.
- You are confident in hardware integration and calibration and bring hands-on testing experience.
Nice to have:
- You have experience in C++/Python as well as CUDA/GPU programming beyond HLSL, and ideally knowledge of Unreal integration.
- You have a background in AR/VR (e.g., AR Foundation-like patterns), machine learning/computer vision, and experience with Real Sense or similar sensors.
- You have strong English skills (at least B2);
German skills are a plus
