Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer I, Payments Platform – ideally with a background in Fin Tech. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain the platform that supports the money movement of our industry‑leading payment engine, moving hundreds of millions every day.

In this role you will design new functionalities and improve existing capabilities to enhance speed, cost and scalability of our product within defined time frames.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Write clean, high‑quality, testable, secure, maintainable and extendable code.
  • Debug and resolve challenging bugs and production issues.
  • Analyze complex problems, evaluating variable factors to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Evaluate and select methods, techniques and tools for optimal results.
  • Assess and enhance scalability and performance.
  • Drive change and improvement across the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Mentor and help fellow developers grow.
Here’s What We’re Looking For
  • 6+ years of experience in application development.
  • Java development experience is required;
    Ruby experience is highly valued.
  • Expertise in web services and REST architecture.
  • Experience designing, developing and supporting scalable, performant and reliable services and distributed systems.
  • Product‑oriented mindset.
  • Prior experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Understanding of observability principles and tools.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and object‑oriented fundamentals.
  • Strong collaboration with QAs, Product and SRE teams.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Fin Tech or payment industry experience is appreciated.
  • Ability to deliver high‑quality code quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
