We have an exciting opportunity for a Caseworker to join the team in the Thames Valley. This role is available on a fixed‑term basis until 31/03/2027 and may be full‑time or part‑time. Please state your preferred number of working hours on your application.
Due to the role’s requirements you will need to reside within Oxfordshire, Berkshire or Buckinghamshire. If you are willing to relocate, please advise this in your application.

As a Caseworker you will join a passionate and committed team that provides high‑quality bespoke support to our service users. We deliver exceptional trauma‑informed advocacy and support and expect you to facilitate positive change with vulnerability focus.
Once in post you will benefit from a mandatory comprehensive training programme that builds on your existing skills and prepares you for the role.
You will be based in the Thames Valley. The role is home‑based, but you will be expected to travel within the region to attend team meetings and in‑person supervision sessions.
A driving licence and vehicle access are considered essential. If you are unable to drive due to a disability, please indicate this in your application so we can explore alternative arrangements.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will showcase resilience and adaptability, understand professional boundaries, possess strong listening skills and empathy, manage a busy caseload and demonstrate excellent organisational skills essential for handling a demanding, diverse workload. As a fully trained Caseworker you will be responsible for managing your own complex caseload to the highest quality standards.
You will need- Understanding of the impact of crime on victims.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering services and working directly within a statutory, voluntary or multi‑agency setting(s).
- Ability to balance competing needs and priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of personal resilience and experience of managing a complex caseload.
- A successful track record of building effective working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
