Position: ADULT PROTECTIVE SERVICE SUPERVISROR - HOTLINE

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, coaching, and direct supervision of subordinate staff
  • Complete performance appraisals, authorize leave, and approve timecards
  • Evaluate workflow and formulate process improvement plans
  • Assign new cases for investigation and support services
  • Utilize database reports for monitoring case work activities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, rehabilitation, criminal justice, or closely related field and 2 years of professional case management/investigation experience; or 1 year as a Human Services Specialist 3 in Arizona State Government; or 4 years of experience providing professional case activities
  • Valid, unrestricted Level One fingerprint clearance card prior to the start of employment
  • Must possess a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license for state business
  • Ability to successfully pass background and reference checks
  • Knowledge of case management and social work practices and principles
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience in a related field
  • Familiarity with community and public policy assessment
  • Experience in conflict resolution techniques
  • Understanding of the aging process and counseling techniques
  • Skills in time management and organization
