Adults Social Care - Social Worker (Qualified) – South Tyneside Council

£27.30 per hour | 37 hours per week
Hybrid Working: 3 days office-based | 2 days working from home

South Tyneside Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Allocated Wellbeing Team (Review Team) within Adults Social Care. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking team focused on promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for adults across the borough.

• Completing statutory community and care home reviews
• Managing an allocated caseload within the Wellbeing Team
• Undertaking strengths-based assessments and person-centred reviews
• Participating in and covering duty rota responsibilities
• Working collaboratively with families, care providers, and partner agencies
• Ensuring care planning remains outcome-focused and compliant with statutory responsibilities

37 hours per week
Hybrid model: 3 days office-based, 2 days remote working
Competitive rate of £27.30 per hour

• Qualified Social Worker (registered with Social Work England)
• Experience in Adults Social Care
• Proven experience completing community and care home reviews
• Strong assessment, analytical, and care planning skills
• Ability to manage duty responsibilities effectively
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
