About this job

We're recruiting for an experienced Tenancy Enforcement/ASB Officer in Liverpool to support our social housing client during a period of sickness cover.

This role requires someone confident managing a mixed caseload, responding quickly to tenancy breaches and ASB reports, and working closely with agencies to ensure safe neighbourhoods.

You will be required to work 1 day per week in St Helens, 1 day per week in Liverpool, with the remainder of the week working from home and completing patch visits.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of ASB and tenancy enforcement cases from initial report to resolution
  • Carry out patch visits across Liverpool and St Helens
  • Conduct interviews, gather evidence, prepare statements and take enforcement action where required
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, community groups, and external agencies
  • Complete risk assessments, maintain accurate case records and follow correct legal processes
  • Provide advice, interventions and early‑resolution support to tenants
  • Prepare documentation for court and attend hearings where necessary
What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience managing ASB and tenancy enforcement cases within social housing
  • Strong knowledge of housing legislation, enforcement tools and community safety practices
  • Confident conducting investigations, interviews and patch‑based work
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle challenging situations professionally
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
