Ireland Home Based Services (IHBS) is a leading behavioral health provider offering in-home therapy, counseling, and family support across Southern Indiana. For over 25 years, we've delivered evidence-based care focused on family preservation, reunification, and youth behavioral health. We are looking to grow and need Home-Based Family Caseworkers to build positive behavioral change with families and children. In this role, you'll work directly with families in their homes and communities-supporting behavioral change, parenting skills, and family reunification goals.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and adaptable, with a genuine commitment to empowering families and improving lives. You may also work with youth involved in the juvenile justice system, helping them develop structure, accountability, and hope for the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-home family support and case management to children, adolescents, and families
• Assist with behavioral health interventions, parenting education, and crisis management
• Support family preservation and reunification efforts through structured goal setting and coaching
• Coordinate services and collaborate with schools, probation officers, and community partners
• Conduct regular home visits, monitor progress, and maintain detailed, compliant documentation
• Work closely with a clinical team to deliver behavioral support plans
• Travel between assigned counties (appx. 2-3 counties); evenings and one weekend day required

Qualifications

Caseworker I:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or related field)
Caseworker II:

• Associate's degree and 4 years of experience providing services to families OR
• High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience providing family or social services

Additional Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in the field
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Passion for working with families, youth, and community partners

Locations:
Openings across 51 Southern Indiana counties, including Knox, Pike, Gibson, Warrick, Vanderburgh, and Posey.

Schedule:

Full-time with evenings and one weekend day required.

Competitive Pay:

• Caseworker I: $40,000-$62,000 per year (average income $44,900)
• Caseworker II: $35,838-$50,000 per year (average income $43,775)
• Compensation range includes bonuses and overtime
