Overview: Our Shared Living program in Kansas offers a nationally recognized model of habilitation and residential services for program participants with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (/D). In our program, one to two participants share a home with a family or an individual adult's family, referred to as the contractor. The Contractor lives with the participant, providing personalized support following the participant's person-centered support plan.

Compensation & Benefits:

$16,000 to $60,000 per year based on the level of care.

This is an Independent Contractor opportunity. The Internal Revenue Service defines an independent Contractor as:

If you are an independent contractor, then you are self-employed. The earnings of a person who is working as an independent contractor are subject to self-employment tax.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience in caregiving, direct support, or a related field preferred.

• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to person-centered care.

• Ability to pass background checks and meet licensing or contractual requirements.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Must reside in a home that meets state and agency safety requirements.
