Job Description
Based at 24a Strathairlie Avenue, Arbroath, DD11 1LN
, with work at various locations across Angus. This role is hybrid, allowing you to work from council buildings, service user locations, site visits, and from home as needed.
This is a 36.25 hour per week temporary position for up to 23 months from the date of appointment, with regular evening and occasional weekend work.
We are looking for a suitably qualified ESOL tutor to join our Resettlement & ESOL Service.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering ESOL lessons for adults and young people
- Conducting language assessments and providing accreditation for learners
- Managing and recording performance, producing reports and evaluating outcomes
Required qualifications and skills:
- Ability to become a member of the PVG Scheme
- Relevant ESOL teaching experience and qualifications (refer to the job outline and person specification for details)
Hours and location: 36.25 hours per week, with flexibility for evenings and weekends. Work locations include council buildings and service user sites across Angus, with the option to work from home.
