Mercor is seeking native American English speakers for a short-term project with a leading AI lab. You must have an American accent for this project.

Remote American English Generalist AI Trainer – $3035 per hour
• Tulsa, Oklahoma, US.

• Record audio snippets of English sentences.
• Evaluate the naturalness and grammar of written English statements.
• Assess correctness of spoken English recordings.

• Hourly range is an estimate; actual payment based on a per-audio-task-completed basis.
• Each audio task will approximately take 1–2 minutes.
• Strong performers will have an opportunity to be promoted to reviewer and receive a higher hourly rate.

• Native-Level Proficiency:
  Native fluency in English (born and raised in the United States).
• Cultural Expertise:
  Deep understanding of American cultural norms, traditions, and communication etiquette.
• Audio Requirements:
  Ability to listen to and record high-quality audio content (quiet environment, clear pronunciation, lossless audio format, etc.).
• Nice to Have – Tech-Savviness:
  Comfortable using virtual platforms and digital tools.
• Nice to Have – Assessment Knowledge:
  Familiarity with language testing methodologies and evaluation frameworks.

• The project is a pilot and expected to last one week.
• High performers may receive future audio work on longer-term engagements.

  Monday, February 23, 2026.
