As a social worker at Buckinghamshire Council you will ensure the highest standards of service to residents of Buckinghamshire. Your key responsibilities include:
- Act as an ambassador and leader across social work, both internally and externally.
- Provide high‑quality professional casework and manage a caseload within a supportive supervisory framework.
- Comply with legislation, statutory guidance and local policies and procedures.
- Deliver outstanding support to residents, ensuring regular monitoring and review of care and support plans.
- Be competent in all areas of the Professional Capabilities Framework of Social Work.
This is a mobile role, allowing you to schedule your own diary, work from home and meet colleagues and clients in various locations.
About YouYou must be a qualified Social Worker (holding a social work degree or equivalent), registered with Social Work England, and ideally have experience in Adult Social Care in the UK. You must hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. You are a people‑oriented professional who works to a strength‑based approach, is adaptable, persistent and able to work independently and collaboratively with partners such as health services, the community sector, housing, care providers and other stakeholders.
