Role and responsibilitiesAbout the post: Relief Learning Assistants, Barnsley Museums. Salary:
Grade 3.
Location:
Barnsley Museums Venues, South Yorkshire, and other community venues. Status:
Relief basis – work as and when required.
We recruit to support delivery of learning programmes to schools, families and communities, increasing engagement with museums, collections, and audiences. You will work with schools, Early Years Foundation Stage, families and community groups, and we welcome applicants with experience delivering schools activities and working with primary school students or delivering family community workshops.
Every day you’ll contribute to our strategic vision for the Museums and ensure high standards for community engagement.
What you’ll needTo join us, you’ll need a Level 1 qualification and proven experience in an educational environment. You’ll be comfortable working with diverse audiences, have knowledge of working with children and young people, be organized, and have strong communication skills.
