Position: Children In Care Social Worker Part WFH Hybrid Remote (Permanent, Contract, Temporary, Part Time)

Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Full Time Community Children In Care Team Specialist Senior Registered Social Worker Band 5-6 (QSW) for a Well-Respected Specialist Non-Public Social Service to work in B6 post code area of Birmingham in the West Midlands, who is really passionate about providing a personal service.
The successful applicant will be an experienced, compassionate individual who will be able to offer service users first-class support in an industry leading working environment.
This role is working full or part time with as many days as you want up to 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm), there is a minimum of 2 days in office per week with the rest of the work week done part remotely working from home in a hybrid model, this is a fixed term contract minimum 3 months going up to maximum 12 months long.

Any mileage / travel expenses incurred whilst on shift will be compensated.
You will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. You will play a key part in assisting our social workers to support our Children in Care alongside those children and families who are subject to live care proceedings. You will assist with the completion of statutory assessments, supervise family time and advise children and their families about help and support that is available to them.
You will obtain and record all relevant information, taking appropriate action where necessary; as well as providing practical day-to-day support; which may take the form of home visits and direct work within the family home or community.
Additionally, you will work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to assess needs, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support. You’ll have extensive experience in working with vulnerable children, young people and their families in a support/advisory role and be knowledgeable in safeguarding and Children’s services processes and legislation.
In return for your commitment, we are able to offer a very competitive rate of pay of £29.51 per hour, it may be possible to increase this dependent on experience determined by interview.
