Job Description

Salary:
Grade 6, £29,540 - £32,597 per annum.
37 hours per week.
Permanent.

Your roleYou may be the Lead Professional for children, young people and their families with complex and multiple needs, or support families across the range of threshold needs. You will build positive relationships with them, act as their champion and advocate improving aspirations and outcomes by building on their strengths.
You will complete Early Help Assessments to understand the family needs and develop plans alongside families as well as supporting to access resources. The role will require you to coach, challenge, and support families to achieve their goals by delivering direct and group work as well as working alongside partners from other disciplines to support the family to meet their aims, ultimately building resilience within themselves and their communities, this is likely to include developing and strengthening family networks.
Aboutyou
We’re seeking a motivated practitioner with a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) in a caring profession and a strong record of continued professional development. You will understand strength-based, trauma-informed, restorative and relational practice, with solid knowledge of safeguarding and multi-agency procedures. You can apply the Early Help framework, use evidence-based tools, and maintain clear, timely records. You bring high challenge/high support values, understand barriers to learning, and confidently connect families to community assets.
You’re aware of health inequalities and able to travel effectively using your own or public transport.
