Doula - Part-Time

• Provide inclusive, in-home visits within a strength-based, family-centered support model to young mothers and fathers who would like support services.
• Offer outreach services and prenatal education activities.
• Assist families in preparing for childbirth through both home visiting and group-based services.
• Advocate for participant families by providing emotional support, parental education, labor and delivery guidance, and postpartum care.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in social work or human services, OR Associate's Degree plus completion of Doula certification training, OR Associate's Degree plus two years' relevant social service experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must become SIU Doula Medicaid Certified within 18 months of hire.
• Able to attend in-person family visits and meetings.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English and Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.

• Compensation:
  Range starts at $20.19-$22.00/hr; offers are commensurate with experience. Bilingual candidates may receive additional financial compensation.
• Location:
  
  Hybrid (On-site, community-based, remote);
  Home-based and community-based services provided in the McLean and DeWitt Counties; home office located at our Bloomington office.
• Schedule:
  
  Part-time, hourly; general business hours with some flexibility required for evening visits and attending after-hours births (on-call).
• Student Loan Forgiveness:
  Brightpoint is an approved agency for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
