Project Facilitator

Overview

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people leaving care? We are looking for a dedicated House Project Facilitator to join our team and support care leavers and young people in care as they transition to independent living.

• Contract type: full time permanent
• Work Style: working from home with 2 days in a council location
• Salary: £30,024 - £33,699 (Grade
  5)
• Hours: 37 per week

• Provide individual and group support to young people, including evenings and weekends.
• Enable young people to take ownership of their Local House Project, including rules, policies, and procedures.
• Support young people in managing finances, housing, and personal development plans.
• Collaborate with multi-agency partners to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
• Engage with the National House Project, attending training and community events.

• Experienced in working with young people facing challenging circumstances.
• Knowledgeable about safeguarding, child development, and the impact of trauma.
• Skilled in building positive relationships and involving young people in decision-making.
• Tenacious, solution-focused, and committed to achieving the best outcomes.
• Able to work flexibly and manage complex plans under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and willingness to learn and use new technology.
