Overview

Interviews are expected to be held on 9 February 2026. Are you an experienced practitioner with specialist knowledge, skills and experience of supporting people after sexual assault, harassment or abuse? Are you committed to providing individual support for students alongside wider institutional collaboration, staff training, preventative work and policy development?

This post within the Student Experience and Support Directorate will have close working links with Leeds University Union (LUU) Help and Support service. You will be part of a Harassment and Misconduct team committed to working collaboratively across Student Support teams and will have excellent communication and partnership working skills, a flexible approach, and an understanding of the impact of sexual assault and the impact of abusive relationships.

A genuine commitment to working with this client group and a passion for this area of work is essential. Please note you will be required to work on campus in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individual support for students who have experienced sexual assault, harassment or abuse.
  • Support wider institutional collaboration, staff training, preventative work and policy development.
  • Work closely with Leeds University Union Help and Support service; be part of the Harassment and Misconduct team; collaborate across Student Support teams.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and partnership working skills; maintain a flexible approach and understanding of the impact of sexual assault and abusive relationships.
Qualifications and experience
  • Experience as an practitioner with specialist knowledge, skills and experience in supporting people after sexual assault, harassment or abuse.

Visa Eligibility

Please note that due to Home Office visa requirements, this role may only be suitable for first-time Skilled Worker visa applicants if they are eligible for salary concessions. For more information please visit:
