Overview
Envision Unlimited is a large non-profit agency committed to providing services for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. We emphasize quality services that promote choice, independence, and community integration. Through the collaborative efforts of an interdisciplinary team, our members receive person-centered services aimed at improving the functionality and practical application of social, financial, and emotional skills. In addition, we work to build partnerships with our community to enrich the lives of our members by creating lasting opportunities that will strengthen relationships for a lifetime.
Our programs include, but are not limited to, Community Day Program, Community Living, Mental Health, Employment and Career Services, and Foster Care.

QualificationsEducation, Skills, and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human or social Service field.
- At least one year of direct experience working with adults with DD (Developmentally Disabled Population).
- Must be QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional) eligible upon hire.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have use of a reliable car to travel throughout the Chicagoland (Cook County) area.
- Must be willing to travel up to 70% of the time, and the other 30% will be working from the Rose Center office (gas and mileage reimbursement provided).
Generally Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with flexibility when needed. This job requires candidate to travel to individuals homes throughout the Chicagoland (Cook County area).
Other ResponsibilitiesMust complete 12 hours of continuing education units (CEU) annually.
Participate in a variety of committee and staff meeting groups.
Participate in quarterly quality assurance reviews.
Attend and assist at agency and member events.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
