Job Title: Social Worker – Adult's Community Team
Location: Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council
Rate: £30 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for registered and experienced Qualified Social Workers to join an Adult Community Team based in Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council.

In this role, you will effectively manage an agreed caseload of complex cases in accordance with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council Policies and statutory legislation. This includes assessing and establishing needs, identifying options and solutions, or signposting to colleagues and other services to meet those needs. You will conduct complex assessments, safeguarding investigations, and reviews in line with departmental policy and procedures, ensuring that the Council meets its statutory obligations as per National Guidance and Standards.

To excel in this role, you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you should hold a full UK licence and have post-qualified experience. It’s essential to have a degree level or equivalent in Social Work. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with adults with disabilities, have good assessments knowledge and have a confident and thorough understanding of all legislation.
